How it started....
When my daughter was born in 2015 I hit rock bottom. You would probably assume the opposite would happen after the birth of your first child- but I really did hit the bottom of the rock pile. Motherhood was nothing what I expected and I was struggling to find the will to get out of bed everyday and take care of her.
Part of it was my postpartum depression and part of it was I felt as though my identity and self drive was just gone. I didn't know who I was anymore outside of my daughter.
I didn't know what to do with my new body- it felt foreign to me and not familiar and I was packing on the pounds thanks to nursing.
I didn't know how to manage my time to get housework done, nurse, and go to work full time- let alone have FRIENDS now that I had a baby. Self care was completely nonexistent in my world.
And I couldn't remember the last time I ENJOYED something or even smiled.
I was living in a shell of existence- going through the motions in life.
So what did you do?
I made a conscious decision that things needed to change- and so I started implementing 3 simple foundation blocks into my life:
Time Management, Nutrition, and Self Care
I now spend my days helping women manage their anxiety through nutrition, time management, and self care. I provide a judgement free community with resources, tips, and suggestions to help encourage them no matter what they are going through in their life. I help them regain their sanity.
