I cannot take any credit for this idea. This comes from a dear friend of mine (and mom boss) who runs her business in order to do mission trips. Read more about what she does here.
She had this BRILLIANT idea to make Flight Attendant Appreciation bags as a way to say “Thank You” and ALSO drop her little business cards/catalogs in there for people. What a neat marketing tool. I’m ALL about giving back and if I can leave a business card and a little one sheeter about what I do- then SIGN ME UP!
I tested these out on our Europe Trip- I made 25 bags and came home with 1 (because our flight delays meant I ran out of bags….oops). They had such a good response, people were near tears and so thankful and one lady even bumped us up to business class on our next flight (that was a VERY welcome surprise traveling for 3 days with a toddler). I think that extra leg room and free drink meant more than anything in that moment.
A lot of people ask what I put in them and I took some photos for you to see:
This is everything that goes into the bag (sandwich baggies)
I hand write “thank you” notes to put in them. Generic phrases like “I appreciate all that you do and your service doesn’t go unnoticed”.
Tea Bags, Granola Bar, Tissues (not pictured), hersey kisses, and some mints
This particular trip I put 1-2 OnGuard Throat Drops into the baggie (cause airlines are gross and germ infected haha)
Deep Blue for all those sore muscles and poor tired feet
And last but not least- a little one sheet on what I do and my business information
