Rosemary was one of the oils that I studied in my aromatherapy certification course. It has so many incredible properties and can up level your overall health and wellness. It really is an incredible essential oil to have on hand. For starters the doTERRA version of Rosemary contains 3 main types of constituents: 1,8 cineole, camphor, and a-pinene. Why is this important? Different constituents do different things within the body.
Cineole for example is mainly used for respiratory system, musculoskeletal system , nervous system, and general fatigue and mental clarity.
Camphor covers all the above plus your Psyche and emotion.
So what does that really mean? It means that Rosemary Essential Oil is the perfect compliment to soothe symptoms of congestion, cold, excess mucus, muscle aches and pain, fatigue, stiffness, low energy, poor concentration and more.
Trying to relax? Let the renewing properties of Rosemary oil soothe your body and soul at the end of a long day by creating a relaxing essential oil bath. Adding essential oils to a warm bath can promote a calming, relaxing environment that allows you to take a break—both mentally and physically. Combine Rosemary, Frankincense, and Epsom salt into your bath for a rejuvenating experience when you are in need of a little “me time.”
2 Cups Epsom Salt
5 Drops Rosemary
5 Drops Frankincense
For a better overall bath experience, add the essential oils once the tub has finished filling and right before you get in. The warm steam will also provide a great emotional aromatic benefit along with helping sore, aching muscles and allowing you to fully relax.
